Sweet & Spicy Rub

  • 2 tablespoons paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper Adjust based on your spice tolerance.
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
Marinade & Glaze
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar Or honey for a milder tang.
  • 1/4 cup BBQ sauce Homemade or store-bought.
Garnish
  • Fresh herbs (like parsley or cilantro) For garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, and salt to make the rub.
  3. Rub this mixture generously over the pork tenderloin.
  4. Drizzle the apple cider vinegar over the tenderloin and allow it to marinate for at least 15 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Grill the tenderloin for 6-7 minutes on each side, brushing with BBQ sauce during the last few minutes.
  2. Ensure the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
  3. Let the pork rest for about 5 minutes before slicing.

Notes

For a flavor twist, add fresh thyme or rosemary to the rub. Use gluten-free BBQ sauce if needed for dietary restrictions. For added heat, consider crushed red pepper flakes.
