  • 8 oz Noodles (fresh wheat noodles or your choice) Adjust cooking time as needed.
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce Low-sodium option recommended.
  • 2 tbsp Sesame Oil Can substitute with another oil.
  • 1 cup Basil Leaves Thai basil preferred, but regular basil works.
  • 4 cloves Garlic (minced) More for enhanced flavor.
  • 1 tbsp Ginger (grated)
  • to taste Chilies (optional) Fresh or dried for spice.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Slice the chicken into bite-sized pieces and mince the garlic and ginger.
Cooking
  1. Heat the sesame oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and ginger to the hot oil, stirring until fragrant—about 30 seconds.
  3. Toss in the chicken pieces, stirring frequently until they are golden and cooked through—approximately 4-5 minutes.
  4. Pour in the soy sauce, stirring to coat each piece of chicken.
  5. Add your noodles to the pan, breaking apart clumps as needed.
  6. Fold in the basil leaves and any chilies if using.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy.

Notes

Consider adding veggies like bell peppers, bok choy, or snow peas for extra color. Tofu or shrimp can be used as alternative proteins.
