  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables Can be swapped with any veggies you like.
  • 1 bag frozen tater tots The star of the dish.
  • to taste salt and pepper Essential seasonings to elevate the flavors.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown your ground beef (or turkey).
  3. Once the meat is browned, stir in the frozen mixed vegetables and let them warm up for 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup until everything is coated and creamy.
  5. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spread out the meat and vegetable mixture evenly.
  7. Top with shredded cheese.
  8. Layer the tater tots on top, covering as much of the cheese and filling as possible.
  9. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes; then remove the foil and bake for another 10 minutes until the tater tots are golden and crispy.
  10. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

You can spice it up with jalapeños, mix in cream cheese, or top with crushed potato chips for extra crunch. Store leftovers properly for the best taste.
