Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 pounds Pork Ribs (baby back or spare ribs) Baby back ribs are tender, while spare ribs offer richer flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil Helps with seasoning and adds richness.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Essential seasoning.
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper Essential seasoning.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder Adds depth of flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder Complements garlic for a well-rounded taste.
  • 1 cup Your Favorite BBQ Sauce Choose a sweet, tangy, or spicy sauce based on preference.

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by rinsing the ribs under cold water and patting them dry with paper towels.
  2. Rub olive oil on the ribs, then season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Let them sit for about 15 minutes to absorb the flavors.
Grilling
  1. Preheat your grill to medium heat (about 300°F or 150°C).
  2. Place the seasoned ribs on the grill and cover. Grill for about 30-40 minutes, turning occasionally.
  3. In the last 10 minutes of cooking, brush a generous amount of your favorite BBQ sauce onto the ribs to caramelize it.
  4. Check for doneness; the ribs should be tender and have an internal temperature of about 190°F (88°C).
  5. Once done, take them off the grill, let them rest for about 5 minutes, then slice and serve.

Notes

Consider using turkey ribs or a homemade sugar-free sauce for healthier options. Serve with creamy coleslaw, cornbread, or baked beans.
