Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Wash and chop your selected vegetables into bite-sized pieces.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped vegetables, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and sauté until just tender, about 5–7 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, garlic powder, and ground pepper.
- In a greased baking dish, spread half of the sautéed vegetables, pour half of the cream mixture, and sprinkle half of the grated cheese. Repeat with remaining vegetables, cream, and cheese.
- Top with breadcrumbs to create a crunchy layer.
Baking
- Bake in preheated oven for 25–30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat at 350°F (175°C) for about 15 minutes.
