Preparation
- Line an 8-inch square pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides.
- In a large saucepan, combine the Velveeta cheese, semi-sweet chocolate chips, butter, and cocoa powder over low heat. Stir frequently until melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in the powdered sugar and vanilla extract until fully combined.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
- Refrigerate for about 2 hours or until firm. Lift out of the pan and cut into squares.
Notes
For a dairy-free option, use plant-based cream cheese and vegan chocolate chips. You can also fold in chopped nuts or swirl in peanut butter or caramel before setting.
