How to make Bagel with Cream Cheese and Smoked Salmon Recipe

Step 1:

Start by selecting your favorite type of bagel, you can use plain, or any variation you like. I am using bagel baked with poppy seeds, that is my favorite. Cut the bagel in two even halves and toast to make it warm and slightly crispy.

Pro Tips:

Make sure to use fresh ingredients with good quality, specially try using smoked salmon with good texture and flavor.

you can use plain cream cheese, but if you want to add more flavor, try adding some spices like salt, and black pepper, or for zesty and tangy flavor, add some lemon zest and lemon drops in cream cheese.

To add crunchiness, you can toast both halves of bagels. It will create warm and crunchy taste in bagels.

you can customize your bagels with your favorite add-ins like sliced red onion, fresh dill, or whatever you like.

Can I store the Leftovers?

Yes, if you have leftover bagel with cream cheese and baked salmon, you can store it for later. And by following the right steps of storing and refrigerating, you can enjoy your bagels with same quality and freshness.

  • If possible, separate the components of the bagel, such as cream cheese, smoked salmon, and bagel halves before storing.
  • place the leftovers in an airtight container and refrigerate them in the coldest part of your refrigerator.
  • Smoked salmon is a perishable product, so its best to consume the leftovers within 1-2 days.
  • If you prefer, you can reheat the bagel halves in a toaster or oven, however, keep in mind that the smoked salmon and cream cheese are typically enjoyed cold, so resemble the bagels after heating.
