salt – 1 teaspoon
cold vegetable shortening – 1/2 cup
cold unsalted butter – 1 1/2 sticks (12 tablespoons , cut into small cubes)
apple cider vinegar – 2 tablespoons
ice water – 1/3 cup
- For the Filling:
Fresh boysenberries – 1 pound
granulated sugar – 1 cup
cornstarch – 3 tablespoons

- Start by making the crust for the pie.
