Try this amazing longhorn potato soup made with potatoes, butter, onion, cheese, chicken broth, heavy cream, sour cream and the spices that add creamy and cheesy texture to the soup with vibrant flavors.

Ingredients

  • Peeled and chopped potatoes – 1 bowl

  • Bacon pieces – half bowl

  • Butter – 3 tsp.

  • Flour- 1/3 cup.

  • Chopped onion – 1.5 cups

  • Minced garlic – 1 tsp

  • Chicken broth – 4 cups

  • Milk- 2 cups

  • Heavy cream – 2/3 cup

  • Sour cream – 2/3 cup

  • Cheddar cheese- 1/2 cup

  • Ground black pepper – 1 teaspoon

  • Ancho chili powder- 1/2 tsp.

  • Salt- 1 tsp or as required
